Travel from the lively capital of Nairobi to the pink shores of Lake Nakuru,then onward to the legendary Masai Mara, home to dramatic wildlife encounters and the world-famous Great Migration. Each day brings vibrant colors, rich wildlife, and unforgettable African moments.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

JAMBO & KARIBU! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure as you prepare for your safari adventure.
Accommodation: Sarova Panafric Hotel

Days 2: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, begin your safari as you drive along the stunning Great Rift Valley escarpment, pausing at a viewpoint for breathtaking photos. Arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park-famous for flamingos, rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and diverse birdlife.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Days 3: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Masai Mara. Travel through rolling highlands before arriving at your camp for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive across the golden savannah-home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, and endless plains teeming with wildlife.

Day 4: Masai Mara - Full-Day Safari

Spend the entire day exploring the Mara with a packed picnic lunch. Look out for elephants, big cats, grazing herds, and during the July October season, the spectacular Great Migration. Optional activities include; sunrise hot-air balloon safari or a visit to a Maasai village.

Note: The Full day Game can be done in halves: Morning game drives and Evening Game drives.

Day 5: Masai Mara - Nairobi/Departure

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Nairobi with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Enjoy a farewell lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant (or an alternative). Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home, or to your hotel if staying overnight in Nairobi.
