Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

You will be picked up from your Nairobi city hotel or from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by your professional safari guide. After a short briefing, depart for Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

Arrive in time for lunch at Sentrim Amboseli Camp or Amboseli Sopa Lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Kilimanjaro. Keep your camera ready for lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and numerous bird species.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation before heading out again in the afternoon. Amboseli’s open plains and seasonal swamps attract elephants, hippos, buffalo, and an abundance of birdlife.
