We collect you from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara, arriving for lunch. The afternoon game drive looks for elephants, big cats and the herds of wildebeest and zebra.

Head out after an early breakfast with a packed lunch for a full day in the reserve. Between July and October you may see wildebeest crossing the Mara River.

Drive to Lake Naivasha for lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat out among hippos and water birds, then walk on Crescent Island, a private sanctuary where giraffes, zebras and antelopes graze freely.

Drive south through farmland and highlands to Amboseli and arrive for lunch. The afternoon game drive looks for elephants, lions, cheetahs and zebras below Kilimanjaro.

Cross the volcanic Chyulu Hills to Tsavo West, stopping at Mzima Springs, where an underwater hide lets you watch hippos and crocodiles in clear water. The springs also supply Mombasa with drinking water.
After lunch at the lodge, a late-afternoon game drive. In the evening, Ngulia Lodge sometimes attracts a leopard to its floodlit area.
