Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1-3: Nairobi - Masai Mara
After an early morning pickup from Nairobi Airport or your city hotel, meet your professional safari guide for a short briefing before departing toward the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly for panoramic views before continuing via Narok town. Arrive in the Mara in time for lunch at your Zebra Valley Camp or similar, followed by your first afternoon game drive across rolling savannahs dotted with acacia trees. The Masai Mara is home to abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, cheetahs, and countless plains game.
Spend the next two days enjoying unlimited game viewing, with morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day safari with picnic lunch under the shade of an acacia tree. The Mara River and open plains provide dramatic wildlife encounters and exceptional photographic opportunities. Optional experiences include a sunrise hot air balloon safari with champagne breakfast or a cultural visit to a Maasai village.

Days 4-6: Masai Mara - Isebania Border - Serengeti
After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and journey south toward the Isebania border. Complete immigration and customs formalities before meeting your Tanzanian safari guide and continuing into Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route as the vast Serengeti plains gradually unfold-an endless wilderness famed for the Great Migration and dramatic predator-prey interactions. Afternoon game viewing continues as you drive deeper into the park, arriving at your lodge or camp in time for dinner.
Over the following two days,explore the Serengeti through morning and afternoon game drives or full-day safaris with picnic lunches. Watch lions patrol rocky kopjes, cheetahs scan the plains, and massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles roam ancient migration corridors.

Day 7: Serengeti - Ngorongoro - Karatu
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in the Serengeti before ascending into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop briefly at the crater rim viewpoint before descending over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most wildlife-dense ecosystems on earth. During your crater floor game drive, encounter black rhinos, large elephant bulls, lions, hyenas, hippos, and vast herds of grazing plains game. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated scenic site inside the crater. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater walls and continue to Karatu town for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Arusha-Nairobi or Zanzibar Extension
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha, where you will either connect to a scheduled shuttle back to Nairobi or opt for a Zanzibar beach extension (available upon request), flying onward to the white-sand beaches and turquoise waters of the Spice Island. Optional Extension to the spicy island of Zanzibar can be arranged upon request.
