Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Meet and greet with our team and representatives upon arrival at the  Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi. Transfer to your hotel, for a relaxing overnight, unwinding from your long journey to away from Home.

Days 2: Nairobi Excursions

Start your day with an early transfer, after an early Breakfast, to the Nairobi National Park, where the first rays of sunlight paint the acacia-studded plains in golden hues. Embark on a morning game drive, immersing yourself in the awakening savanna as lions stretch lazily under trees, rhinos graze in secluded glades, and giraffes browse gracefully. The symphony of wildlife calls and rustling grasses creates an unforgettable introduction to Kenya’s natural beauty. Continue your journey with a transfer to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where orphaned elephants receive tender care and attention. Watch these gentle giants play and interact, a heartwarming experience that embodies conservation in action.
After this, enjoy a leisurely lunch at Karen Coffee Gardens (or a similar restaurant), where the aromas of freshly brewed coffee mingle with views of lush gardens. In the afternoon, explore the Karen Blixen Museum, stepping into the world of the famed author of <<Out of Africa>>, before visiting the Fairview Coffee Estate for a guided tour through its aromatic coffee plantations and tasting of freshly roasted beans. As the day winds down, return to your hotel to freshen up and rest briefly, letting the sights, sounds, and scents of the day settle. In the evening, transfer to the iconic Carnivore Restaurant for a memorable dinner, where robust flavors and lively atmosphere celebrate the spirit of Kenya.

Overnight at Tamarind Tree Hotel (or similar), a peaceful retreat to rest and prepare for the adventures ahead.

Day 3: Enroute Amboseli (4Hrs Drive)

Depart after your Breakfast for Amboseli National Park, renowned for its sweeping vistas of Mount Kilimanjaro and its rich wildlife. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, at the Amboseli serena lodge/Oltukai lodge, allowing you to relax and soak in the stunning surroundings. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, where elephants roam gracefully across the golden plains, giraffes stretch toward the treetops, and over 400 species of birds enliven the skies with color and song. As the sun dips toward the horizon, the savanna glows in warm, golden light, a perfect backdrop for photography and wildlife observation. Return to your respective hotel for dinner and and overnight.

Day 4: Full Day in Amboseli

Start the day with a dawn game drive, when the golden light of early morning illuminates the plains and wildlife begins to stir. Watch elephants roam gracefully, giraffes stretch to the treetops, and zebras and antelopes move quietly across the savanna, all framed by the majestic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your respective lodge for Breakfast then a little freshen up before setting out again on a cultural visit to a Maasai village. Meet the local community, learn about their traditions, and gain insight into the lifestyle of this proud, historic nomadic tribe. Lunch and a leisurely afternoon at you respective lodge. In the late afternoon, embark on a second game drive, capturing the park in the soft glow of sunset and discovering more of its rich wildlife.

Day 5-7: Tsavo West - Kilaguni serena lodge

Enjoy three nights exploring Tsavo West National Park, a rugged and dramatic wilderness shaped by ancient lava flows, hundreds of volcanic craters, rocky hills, and lush natural springs. Early morning and late afternoon game drives reveal a rich variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, lions, and leopards—particularly abundant here and well suited to Tsavo West’s rocky, forested terrain, making the park one of Kenya’s best places to spot them. Highlights include visits to the famous Mzima Springs, home to hippos and crocodiles, and scenic viewpoints overlooking the vast volcanic landscape. Between activities, relax at the lodge or camp and soak in the tranquility of this wild and less-crowded park.

Day 8-10: Tsavo East National Park

Spend three nights exploring Tsavo East National Park, renowned for its vast open plains, red-earth landscapes, and dramatic river systems. Game drives take you along the Galana River, the park’s lifeline, attracting large numbers of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and an impressive diversity of birdlife. Day 11: Arusha

Begin the day with an early morning game drive, when the African wilderness slowly awakens and wildlife is most active. Return to the lodge for breakfast and a moment to freshen up before departing on a scenic game drive en route, leaving Tsavo’s vast plains behind. The journey unfolds through changing landscapes and rural borderlands, carrying the quiet rhythm of the road as you cross into Tanzania at the Holili border, where visa and immigration formalities are completed. Continue toward Arusha, a vibrant town nestled at the foothills of Mount Meru and long regarded as the safari capital of northern Tanzania. Surrounded by fertile farmland, coffee plantations, and lush greenery, Arusha serves as the gateway to some of Africa’s most iconic parks while retaining a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Arrive in the afternoon and transfer to Moivaro Coffee Lodge, a charming property set within a tranquil coffee plantation. The lodge offers comfortable cottages, peaceful gardens, and views of Mount Meru, providing an ideal place to unwind after the journey. Enjoy a relaxed evening surrounded by nature before dinner at the lodge.

Day 12: Lake Manyara-Mto wa mbu-Karatu

Depart Arusha in the morning for Lake Manyara National Park, enjoying a game drive through its varied landscapes of groundwater forest, open plains, and lakeshore. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, baboons, giraffes, hippos, and the famous tree-climbing lions, along with abundant birdlife such as flamingos. After the game drive, proceed to Mto wa Mbu village for a traditional local lunch prepared by community members, featuring fresh Tanzanian dishes and seasonal produce. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided cultural walk through the village, visiting banana plantations, local schools (when open),and artisan workshops of Makonde woodcarvers and Tingatinga painters. Day 13: Full Day Crater Ngoro Ngoro

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive within this vast volcanic caldera, home to one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife. The name Ngorongoro comes from the Maasai word “ngoro ngoro,” inspired by the deep, resonant sound of cowbells echoing across the crater walls. Explore the crater floor, where open grasslands, wetlands, and acacia groves shelter lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, zebras, and the rare black rhino. Day 14-16: Ngorongoro-Olduvai Gorge-Serengeti

After breakfast, depart the Ngorongoro Highlands and journey toward the Serengeti, with a brief stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. Here, early human fossils were discovered, and a local guide will share fascinating stories about the cradle of humankind. Continue toward the Serengeti, stopping for a picnic lunch at Nabii Gate, surrounded by the first glimpses of the park’s rolling savannah. Along the way, enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting wildlife as the sun begins to cast golden light over the plains.

Arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight. Over the next day, enjoy two full days exploring Serengeti’s endless plains, witnessing vast herds of wildebeest and zebras, elusive predators on the hunt, and breathtaking landscapes where nature unfolds in timeless rhythm.

Day 17-19: Serengeti-Isebania Border-Maasai Mara

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive toward the Isebania border. Complete border formalities before continuing your journey into Kenya. Stop for a picnic lunch along the way, surrounded by the rolling savannah and the sights of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at the legendary Masai Mara in the late afternoon and enjoy an evening game drive en route to the lodge, taking in the golden light over the Mara plains and glimpses of lions, elephants, and giraffes. Over the next two days, explore the Mara’s vast landscapes with morning and evening game drives, witnessing its abundant wildlife, iconic predators, and, if in season, spectacular wildebeest migrations.

Day 20: Nairobi/Departure

After breakfast, take a morning flight from the Masai Mara to Wilson Airport, Nairobi. Upon arrival, enjoy a farewell lunch at the renowned Carnivore Restaurant, savoring its legendary flavors. Spend the afternoon relaxing in your dayroom at the Nairobi Serena Hotel, unwinding and reflecting on your unforgettable safari adventure. Later, transfer to the airport for your evening international flight home, carrying memories of Africa’s breathtaking landscapes and wildlife.
