Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet your English-speaking guide and begin your safari adventure heading north across the equator. Drive through the changing landscapes into the semi-arid region of Samburu National Reserve. Arrive at Samburu Simba Lodge in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive. Samburu’s rugged beauty is home to unique northern species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Days 2-3: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve
Spend the entire day exploring Samburu’s pristine wilderness. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs.Between the game drives, relax at your lodge or by the pool overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River,which sustains life in this dry landscape.
You may also opt to visit a Samburu village to learn about their traditional lifestyle and colorful culture. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Days 4: Samburu - Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located on the Laikipia Plateau. Arrive at Sweetwaters Serena Camp, set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kenya. After lunch, visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary (rescued from their homes of origine due to civil wars and trophy hunting for their meat) and the Rhino Refuge, home to both black and white rhinos. Later, enjoy a game drive across the plains in search of the Big Five and other wildlife species.

Day 5: Ol Pejeta - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, travel south through Kenya’s highlands and descend into the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the lake to see hippos and the vibrant birdlife. You can also take a guided walk on Crescent Island for close encounters with zebras and giraffes.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, drive through the floor of the Great Rift Valley towards the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at Enkorok Safari Camp in time for lunch. Later, set out on an afternoon game drive to explore the vast savannah, home to Africa’s most impressive concentration of wildlife.

Day 7-8: Full Day in the Masai Mara
Spend the day on safari in the Masai Mara, Kenya’s premier wildlife destination. Early morning and afternoon game drives reveal the wonders of this ecosystem, from lions and elephants to cheetahs and hippos. During the migration season, witness herds of wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River.
Optional activities include a sunrise hot-air balloon safari followed by a champagne breakfast or a visit to a Maasai village to learn about their traditional culture.

Day 9: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Enjoy your final early morning game drive before breakfast. Bid farewell to the Mara and journey back to Nairobi with lunch en route or at a Nairobi Restaurant(The Carnivore restaurant or an Alternative). Upon arrival, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight. Safari Njema!
