Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Karibu Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you’ll be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred to your city hotel. Enjoy a relaxed evening at leisure before your safari adventure begins.
Accommodation: Best Western Plus/Tamarind Tree Hotel

Days 2: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, depart northwards through Kenya’s central highlands. Pass by lush coffee and tea plantations and continue to the semi-arid north, with the majestic Mount Kenya dominating the horizon. Arrive in Samburu for lunch at your lodge and enjoy your first afternoon game drive in this unique reserve.

Day 3-5: Samburu National Reserve/Buffalo springs
Spend the next three days exploring Samburu, Buffalo Springs, and Shaba Reserves, which share an ecosystem divided by the Ewaso Nyiro River. Encounter species unique to northern Kenya, the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and the curious gerenuk. Morning and afternoon game drives reveal elephants, lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Day 6: Solio Ranch Conservancy
After breakfast, depart for Solio Ranch, a private conservancy located between the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. This is one of Africa’s most successful rhino sanctuaries and home to both black and white rhinos, alongside lions, cheetahs, zebras, and elands. Enjoy your first afternoon game drive through open plains with Mount Kenya as your backdrop.

Day 7: Full Day at Solio Ranch
Spend a full day exploring Solio Conservancy. Enjoy early morning and afternoon game drives, perfect for observing rhinos grazing peacefully under the golden light. Solio is not only a conservation success story but also a serene sanctuary for nature lovers, offering picturesque views and tranquil settings.

Day 8-9: Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart southwards toward Amboseli National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy lunch en route before continuing your journey to the park. Arrive in the early afternoon and settle into your lodge. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure, soaking in the scenery and relaxing after the drive. For guests who prefer to start exploring immediately, an optional game drive can be arranged on arrival. Over the next two days, discover Amboseli’s incredible wildlife; lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and over 400 bird species.
Diner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 10: Amboseli - Nairobi/Departure
Begin the day with an early morning game drive, taking advantage of the prime wildlife viewing hours. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then check out while still enjoying access to selected lodge amenities. Spend the rest of the morning either on an additional mid-morning game drive or relaxing at the lodge at your own pace. After lunch, depart for Nairobi and continue to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
