Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival - Kilimanjaro Airport - Arusha
Meet and greet at Kilimanjaro International Airport, then transfer to your lodge for rest after your flight.
Overnight: KIA Lodge
Meal Plan: Bed & Breakfast (Dinner at own expense)
Days 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Depart after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park,known for its giant baobab trees and large herds of free-roaming elephants.The Tarangire River attracts wildlife throughout the year, offering close encounters with lions,leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras,and exceptional birdlife. Lunch at the lodge followed by an afternoon game drive.
Overnight: Tarangire Safari Lodge
Meal Plan: Lunch – Dinner – Breakfast
Days 3: Morning Safari - Lake Manyara - Karatu
Early morning game drive to track predators before they return from the night hunt. Later, continue to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and pink flamingos. Picnic lunch inside the park. Continue to Karatu village, gateway to Ngorongoro.
Overnight: Octagon Lodge – Karatu

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive - Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari in one of the world’s most wildlife-dense destinations. Home to the Big Five and nearly 30,000 animals, this caldera offers stunning landscapes and unique wildlife encounters. Picnic lunch in the crater.
Overnight: Octagon Lodge – Karatu
Meal Plan: Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner
Day 5: Elephant Caves & Waterfalls - Flight to Zanzibar
After breakfast, visit the Elephant Caves and Endoro Waterfalls, known for mineral-rich soil visited by elephants. Transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to your beach hotel in Jambiani.
Overnight: Uzuri Villa – Jambiani or similar
Meal Plan: Half Board (Dinner & Breakfast)
Day 6-7-8: Jambiani Beach - Free Days
Relax on Zanzibar’s white-sand beaches or enjoy optional excursions such as snorkeling, Spice Tour, Stone Town, dolphin tours, and sunset dhow cruises (available at extra cost).
Overnight: Uzuri Villa – Jambiani
Meal Plan: Half Board
Day 9: Zanzibar Airport - Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until check-out, then transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight back to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward international departure.
End of your safari – Safari Njema!
