Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1-2: Nairobi- Urban Elegance & Wild Encounters
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be warmly met and assisted before transferring to your hotel, Nairobi Serena Hotel or Tamarind Tree Hotel (or similar), a peaceful retreat set away from the city’s bustle.
One morning begins before sunrise with a guided game drive in Nairobi National Park, where rhinos, giraffes, and lions roam freely against the dramatic silhouette of the city skyline. Return to the hotel to freshen up before continuing to the Karen Blixen Museum, nestled at the foot of the Ngong Hills, offering a graceful glimpse into Kenya’s colonial heritage.
The journey continues with a visit to the Fairview Coffee Estate, where manicured plantations and rich aromas tell the story of Kenya’s world-renowned coffee culture. As evening falls, enjoy dinner at the iconic Carnivore Restaurant or similar, a celebrated culinary landmark, before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 3-5:Tsavo West National Park -Land of Fire & Water (Scenic Train Experience | Premium Class)
After breakfast, transfer to the SGR terminal to board your Premium Class train journey toward the wild heart of Tsavo. As the train glides through open landscapes, the rhythm of the journey eases you into the vastness of Kenya’s untamed south.
Upon arrival, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, arriving in time for lunch. The afternoon is spent at leisure, quietly observing the natural waterhole below the lodge veranda, where herds of elephants and buffalo gather to quench their thirst beneath the warming sun.
Over the next days, explore Tsavo West National Park through carefully paced morning and afternoon game drives. The landscape here is dramatic and elemental—shaped by ancient lava flows and scattered with hundreds of volcanic cones that tell the story of the land’s fiery past. Enjoy a romantic bush breakfast set within the wilderness, a gentle pause surrounded by birdsong and open horizons.
Guided walking safaris offer a closer connection to the land, while a visit to the crystal-clear Mzima Springs reveals an oasis of life fed by underground rivers flowing from the Chyulu Hills. Each evening, return to the lodge as the sun dips behind volcanic ridges, painting the sky in warm hues.

Day 6-7: Amboseli National Park -In the Shadow of Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, depart northward toward Amboseli National Park, a scenic journey of approximately two hours across rugged terrain aboard your private 4×4 safari vehicle.
Arrive in time for lunch at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, Ol Tukai Lodge, or similar, set within open plains framed by the towering presence of Mount Kilimanjaro. Over the next two days, explore this iconic landscape through morning and afternoon game drives, curated according to your preferences in collaboration with your professional safari guide.
Amboseli is famed for its vast elephant herds, sweeping savannahs, and ever-changing light. Between game drives, you may choose moments of leisure—simply observing wildlife wander across the plains, listening to the wind through acacias, and absorbing the stillness of this remarkable setting.
As dusk settles, return to the lodge for dinner and restful nights beneath Kilimanjaro’s watchful gaze.

Day 8-11: Masai Mara-the Legendary Plains
After breakfast, transfer to the Amboseli airstrip for your scheduled flight to the legendary Masai Mara, routing via Nairobi. From the air, watch the landscape transform into vast ribbons of gold as the Mara slowly unfolds beneath you.
Upon landing, you will be warmly welcomed by your Mara guide and begin game viewing en route to your camp. Wildlife encounters often begin immediately, setting the tone for the days ahead. Arrive in time for lunch at Sarova Mara Camp or similar, nestled within the heart of this iconic ecosystem.
Over the next four days, immerse yourself in the endless golden plains of the Masai Mara, exploring through morning and afternoon game drives, all curated around your personal interests. On selected days, set out with picnic lunch boxes for seamless full-day explorations, venturing deeper into the wilderness in search of untamed encounters—lions lounging beneath acacia trees, cheetahs scanning the horizon, and vast herds moving rhythmically across the plains.
As evenings draw near, pause for unforgettable sundowners,watching the sun sink slowly into the savannah, casting long shadows and bathing the land in amber hues. Return to your lodge after dark for dinner and a restful overnight, accompanied by the distant sounds of the African night.

Day 12: Nairobi – Departure
After breakfast, board your scheduled flight back to Nairobi. A day room at Nairobi Serena Hotel or similar will be at your disposal (room only, no meals), offering a final moment of comfort and relaxation after your safari journey.
At the appropriate time, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your homebound flight.
